We started with a long 16 caged rabbit hutch. Cut it in half. Removed the wire from the middle and the side for the nest boxes and the doors. The run is being built on the South and West side of our storage building. 1 reason is for protection during the winter and the other so we can use 2 sides of the building for walls to the run.

The red barn opens up for the chickens to enter and exit. The orange 2 story house opens up for human entry.

Almost done. Right half of the nest box needs its hatched roof. Window needs it's covering. The roof needs to be finished and it needs lots of paint.
