I too am thinking, but would anyone consider making the due date a week or 2 later just incase more people sign up, I would be nervous getting 20 or more done in just 5-6 weeks although 12-15 would be fairly easy. mary

My white leghorn 7 months had bad frostbite, foot and leg swollen for about 4 weeks, then the last week rapid improvement....she's out running well and giving us eggs....that toe is a goner, but the leg I think will recover.

My dental hygenist keeps chickens. She took her kids old wagon and put a dog kennel hard sided in it she then wheels it into the chicken runs and back in to garage for increasing lengths of time...the birds can get somewhat acquanted through the wire....I did this but just carried a smaller...
We had a very sudden change, lost 2 very young birds....however both were signifcantly smaller than their hatchmates, one with a crossed beak, the other just a sweet runt....at 6 months smaller than most bantums...never ill....just tiny. (

I had to leave for a few days, my uncle had a heart attack, I had a chicken who tends to lay her eggs in the run....by the coop literally freeze in that position. I brought her in, could not stand for 3 or 4 days...but 4 weeks later she is back with her friends, well leg fully recovered no lost...
