Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Here's my blue wheaten cockerel, what do you guys think? How does he look? I'm planning on taking him to the Central Florida Fair in March.

    Campine Chicken thread?

I see, I'm glad it's nothing too out of the ordinary, I should have pictures in this thread tomorrow, I'm really liking how they're looking so far, It seems like their combs are growing so much each day, I'm absolutely infatuated with this breed now.

    20 chicks *****Welsummers and BLRW

How far are you from Orlando? If I purchase, would I be able to arrange a meet up? EDIT: I am mostly interested in the BLRW, if it is possible to buy one, and not the other.

    Campine Chicken thread?

Hmmm, I'm noticing my chicks are a PAIR! The boo is definitely getting his tail feathers in already, he looks stunning! Does anyone know what may cause toes to get a pink tip? The female had normal colored toes, and now, she has pink on them! Is this genetic or something else? Hmm. Also, their...

    Campine Chicken thread?

Well, it's been a few more days, and chick #2 has had substantially less growth of the comb. I'll update you all more as the weeks go by with pictures! Super excited to work with this breed!

    Campine Chicken thread?

Thanks guys! I'm hoping for a pair out of them, although two roo's would be AWESOME considering their for show purposes.

    Absolutely LIVID!

Thanks for the support everyone! It's such a shame to lose a bird to me, especially a Lakenvelder, such a lovely specimen too. sigh.

    Golden Campine Chicks - Genders?

Mandelyn- #2 is the one I'm questioning as well! Especially comparitively, #1 has a MUCH bigger comb and more out-going disposition.

    Golden Campine Chicks - Genders?

I'm completely alright with this! They are for show purposes, so roosters wouldn't bug me too much. Any other opinions out there?

    Golden Campine Chicks - Genders?

I'm needing some help possibly identifying genders. Out of these two chicks one has a much bigger comb, but thus far the feathers that are coming in are coming in at the same time. Although, I must say, these chicks are quite flighty, even though one is a sweetheart once it's picked up. Chick...

    Absolutely LIVID!

I belong to a group of students at my highschool's FFA chapter. Out of necessity, I keep my chickens on campus and away from harms way. (Individual coops and brooders, keeping seperate my big wyandottes from my bantam cochins, etc.) Recently, after the Central Florida Fair, I purchased 2...
