Never made Deviled Eggs out of them, but they make the most adorable dyed eggs EVER.
Lots of teensy tinsy multi colored eggs. Just make sure to give them a little wash before dying hehe
Problem is that the others I have are standards, who will beat the every loving snot outta him. Hopefully once I can figure things out he can either go somewhere, or get a girlfriend or three...somewhere. Snuggly chicken, jeesh.
I have never really been "cuddly" with my chickens. Generally they are pretty skittish with me, which is ok.
But this one...hes like a crazy over attached critter.
So. It was IB. All the big guys (standards) are fit as a fiddle.
The banties, being so young, apparently didn't handle it well and all but one went to the great chicken coop in the sky.
The one...is now having serious seperation anxiety, and freaks out if I leave him (I think its a roo) in...
So. I bought some chicks from a fellow several weeks ago. One sneezed a few times a few days after I got them home, but I didn't think too much about it.
Until the wheezing started and gasping. >.<
You can imagine how ticked off I was, because it spread like wildfire through my birds...
I have some 3 week old Old English Game Bantam chicks that I am looking to rehome, asking 2 dollars each. They are coming into their feathers right now, so the pictures are a little silly looking. But they are sweet as can be!
I would also be willing to trade for a duckling, possibly...

If anyone is interested in them, I am asking 2 dollars a chick. There are also more eggs in the...
Shes about a month old, seems a little on the thin side. Up until today she was eating and drinking like the others, but I haven't seen her do it today yet.
Edit- I put a slice of bread in there for them to snack on and she went to town on it with the others. She does seem a little pale...
I have done a search on yahoo, and on this site as well, to try and figure out what is happening with one of my little Delawares I just bought a week ago.
She (I think its a she at least, heh) is lethargic. Tail down, eyes going shut, puffing up slightly. And the most bothersome thing is that...
I would definately keep the Delewares. They are listed as a critical breed on the ALBC site!
I had a heck of a time finding them in Maryland, and apparently (again, according to the site) there are less that 500 breeding flocks in the US.
Just my two cents. But I am a sucker for endangered...
