They don't vax for all which I've been told, only some breeds, and most aren't vaccinated, I even asked directly, and they said they won't vaccinate.. I mainly do for Mareks, and preferably Coxy preventative. Any Vax available really.
I love cackle, but I dislike they don't vaccinate, idk where to buy vaccines nor do I know how to do it myself. But later if I learn I'm going to purchase Golden Phoenix, White Phoenix, and Cubalaya, I might order some Brown Red from them, but I think I might buy Purely Poultry BR because I have...
I know shat many may be thinking. Hatchery chickens as breeder flock. But it's the best I can work with for now. Anyone know how to breed some fine BR OEGB and picking your stock? I do want to add finer bloodlines later on but now, I don't have that money! But I do want to breed a fine, healthy...

Yeah I understand it's not cheap, but I also have very little money to come by personally as I'm liimg at my parents they don't justtt give me money I gotta work for it. But I'm wanting to begin breeding some small lines that are good quality. But I'm also trying to breed shock that will...
I try won't look at eBay till I hatch eggs since there and many 1-3 day bids always on the breeds I want. 🤣 but I will have to see if I can get some eggs then!!!
I'm into old classic breeds such as game chickens, I would love some Penny Hatch, White Hackle, Kelso, or Sweater. Where can I purchase relatively cheap eggs? I'm building chicken tractors and wanna start selectively breeding some smalll flocks for fun. I have plans for a bantam flock, and a...
They don't perceive pain the same as we do, the most they would get is stressed and uncomfortable unless you forcefully caused pain. Which is probably how his dad survived after being attacked and got his head caught up in a fence. The bigger worry is infection unless it's cared for correctly...
I'll get a new photo! but I don't want to pick him up again until this evening or when I put more oil on. His comb is yellow in spots and raw. I just don't want it ending up like his dad's rose comb which had flattened down within one winter from injuries and frostbite and stayed purple all summer.
Feed some grain and add more protein I did this for my flock and the laying is back up we'll. 17 hens 1 roo, 6 ducks I get on average 5-9 eggs a day. Most my ladies are retired waiting to be sold next fall.
Has anyone here ever dubbed a rooster with a pea comb? The man I'm considering doing this at home, the frostbite isn't bugging him but the cold is drying it out and cracking it. I'd honestly be ok doing this if he had a single comb but a little bit more nervous or being a pea comb. He's a big...
