Did some tests, took her out and out her on my arm then shifted her weight. When she was unbalanced she flapped. Seems sore but not terrible. I moved feathers around and saw some evidence of the injury. Moreover I see she's missing that rear facing toe. Not sure how fast they heal so I couldn't...

I'm afraid am unable to tell the difference, new to experience. She is awfully quick to move away when I try and manipulate it and I am able to see some exposed skin as some of the feathers were torn out. Is there any method you suggest for me to verify?
