    1st night in the coop .......

    How eggciting! When I first moved my girls out, they had no light other than natural and their door was closed. I started leaving it open after about a week to make sure they knew where home was. Good luck!!!

    I was aware of the needed "extra" feedings, but they've gone Ape! They eat crumbles. Scratch. Berries, melon, apples, etc. Cukes, cabbage, etc. Mealies.

    My coop is 4x5 and the run is 35x4. The birds do get access to my yard (50x20). I have 2 stations for water and food at opposite ends of the run. Thanks for the information and assistance!
