Not all of the dog proof traps are actually dog or cat proof. Some of the different brand have push/pull triggers.

Try a dog proof coon trap. About anything will work for bait. It's best to stake it down so when it's caught it can't reach anything.

Ask around feed stores or local co-ops and you might find a good trapper in your area willing to help you out

There's only one size duke dog proof. There are just different makers of the trap and the traps have different names. Some have two way triggers and some have pull only triggers. There's the duke dp, Bridger t3, freedom brand dp, diablo dp, z-trap and a few more. They all work about the same.

Hire a good trapper from your area

I doubt it's any good. Opposums are very thin hided and it won't take long for it too go bad. Scrape it and if the fur don't fall out it will be ok.

When he comes out to set his traps you should watch how he does it. That way if you have problems in the future you will be able to do it yourself if needed. Good luck
