    Our 5 Malay have hatched 3 clutches of 7 to 10 each so far this year & have begun laying almost immediately after. We do pick up the chicks & put them in the brooder.

    I can do that. Right now we have 1 Showgirl hen in with our Blue Splash (8 Blue Splash hens) and 2 Showgirl hens in with the Blue/Black hens (4 Blue hens, 5 Black hens). There is a chance you could get get some showgirl eggs, the Showgirls are very young and I'm not sure they are laying yet...
