Here are some pics that I took for comparison. The Indian star tortoise before and after with a three-year difference, and the leopard tortoise with a one year difference.

I wanted the first one initially, but there are mixed reviews on it. Makes me unsure to be honest although the majority of the reviews are good.

This would be my first time keeping my flock outside and a heated watered is needed. I live in Chicago and have an omlet Eglu with all the options for winter weather coverings. Since the run is only 6ft I wanted a smaller waterer. I’m currently looking at these two.

I’m torn because I bought nice display cages for viewing in the living space of my house, but could do so much more in the basement. The fact that I would have to go downstairs to view them gets me.

I honestly hope I have to do nothing more than a play ointment as she did create a tear in her second eyelid. At the moment her eye is a little cloudy, very much open. The ripped eyelid resembles that of a bulldog with cherry eye

That’s the same ointment that I’ve been using and was wondering why it wasn’t working until today when I was finally able to see that white crud and I knew it wasn’t supposed to be in there. She has been scratching her eye, and it looks as if she created a small tear in her secondary eyelid

Thank you, although it is not very visible, I do have the run skirts that flare out to aid in tunneling. I do have a doggie door, so my dogs are in and out all day. The only real predators I have are rats that come out at night so I am sure to lock the coop once they call it a day.
