Yeah seems like that's the way to go, there's already abrasions and it can't even use the leg

I have a chick with a leg stuck tucked up, Usually I'd expect it to be dead by now but somehow it's surviving in second day, just wanted to check if anyone has any ideas that might be possible to help? The leg only moves at the hip, no movement below at all.

Definitely warm enough, it sleeps fine. It does try and eat with the others it's just that issue of it not liking the feeling judging by the constant head shake.

I have five jumbo quail hatch all are doing well however one keeps peeping loudly sometimes, it seems like even though it tries to eat and drink every time it tried is shakes it's head, I'm watching it try and eat right now and it always ends up shaking its head.
