    None yet, we move 3/31. I think I want barred rocks. (Dual purpose, good layers, supposed to be heat tolerant ...Texas... Would like a couple of other breeds too. The laced wyandotte are beautiful, but the rhode island reds seem to be happy birds of that makes sense. )

    New member here. Heard about BYC from my aunt years ago. She died last year and I'm inheriting her coop from my uncle. I've wanted chickens for years but HOA was a no go! So, after nearly twenty years.... We are moving! Our realtor had to check if any house/property we looked at had chicken...

Have 2*4 boards assembled in squares (3 of them) with 1/2 hardware cloth over it to limit access to the ground and protect the vegetation, periodically uncover areas and/or section areas to rotate into.
