    I don’t have a gander. I have a goose, was wanting a gander and a friend tried to tell me it would produce a hybrid with my ducks. I’d never heard of that but I definitely didn’t want it.

    I was discussing plans with a friend recently and she warned me that a Toulouse gander could breed with my duck hens. Specifically buff Orpington, and Welsh harlequin. I’ve never heard anything like that. Any truth to this?

    I have lost two ducks, exactly a week apart. Both are adults. No blood, one was in the middle of the duck pen the other was in the surrounding yard. No visible bite marks. No ruffled feathers even. Necks look like it could be stretched too far back, but I'm not super clear as I can't handle dead...
