I know I should remember this, but at what height should I keep their lamp away from them? I remember the rule about they'll huddle if cold, scatter if too warm. But they're kind of divided, so I'm confused. I don't want to fry the close ones, if it IS too close. Please help.

I didn't actually pick up my hen and check the vent. HOw do I tell if it's prolapse? I don't see the other hens pecking at one? They all are acting normal, but one def was bleeding in the nesting box. HELP!
All of the hens are acting normal. Can't tell which one, but it's definitely one of the buffs bc she lays in a certain nesting box and that's where the blood was found AS WELL AS the coop floor and on the roosting post. Any thoughts on what this could be and how much we should be concerned or...
Are you supposed to leave them alone? I mean we want to keep our eyes on them...even though we designed the coop with the nesting boxes with hay and want them to lay the eggs there...they don't seem to be playing along. Can you help with other ways on how to get them to lay in the right place...
I hand feed her water. Greenish tint to surrounding shavings. Can someone help? I want to save her. I put medicine in her water, but if she's not drinking enough, then how can it help? Any other ideas?

And I can tell which leg it is but am no doctor, so I can't tell what is wrong. I tried to make him eat, but he wouldn't eat it. Then he flew out of my hands and I feel even worse b/c he can't land well. I feel terrible. WHAT DO I DO??!!!!
