I also agree a flock is incomplete without a rooster or two. I have had chickens 45 or so years . I can't imagine not having roosters. I have had a few nasty jerks, but most were polite and respectful . I have even had a few that were bad as cockerals but brought in line by the senior rooster...

She looks like she is in labor. A false pregnancy is a possibility too or even pyometra. It could be many things. Are you sure there is no chance she was around an intact male? Do you have any photos of her belly? Is she digging in the blankets?
