  2. Henry, our sweet 'ol rooster has adopted the baby chicks. They will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Henry tore into a cat who tried to get in the pen with the babies. I think our other outdoor cats recognize that the chicks are now part of the family.

    Greetings. I have kept backyard chickens for three years now and of course, those three years old hens have slowed down laying. I needed reinforcements! Last week my Cinnamon Queen peeps arrived. Yahoo! Gotta love those chickens!
