I'm really looking at moving this newborn into the brooder. I've got one in the brooder (3 days old) and one born 7 hours ago. They are screeching at each other across the room and I'm going INSANE!
"Miracle" is almost totally dried off and they're very lonely.

3 of our dogs would go after the chickens in a heartbeat, so we don't ever let them be together at all. We only free range our chickens when the dogs are put in their kennels.

Just wanted to update you all.......the last of the 7 eggs just hatched!
We of course are thrilled.....this whole thing has been crazy. We did lose 5 of the eggs, but to have 2 hatch out of seven given the whole story of the past two weeks, we feel very blessed!
