Is it OK to use a galvanized waterer with Wazine?

I also withheld water over night so they would drink the Wazine water. As soon as I put it in the drank it all and things are looking up for me now! Good luck!

Is it OK to use a galvanized waterer with Wazine?

I used my metal waterer. They drank it so fast it only stayed in there for a couple of hours. But, if I use the apple cider vinegar in the water as a preventative then I would not use the metal waterer.

This is a mystery to me!

Good to know dawg53! She will be a happy Saint Bernard in the morning! What was your take on the photos I posted?

This is a mystery to me!

I thought the same thing about feeding the Wazine eggs to the chickens, about Wazine in the eggs so I had not planned on giving them the eggs. But I also worried about giving them to the dog. I know different breeds can not have certain wormers. I have a Saint Bernard and not sure she can have it.

This is a mystery to me!

Funny you mention scrambled eggs.....I scrambled 8 eggs with their shells for them this morning because I was freaking out about the worm I found in the poop! The eggs I have are from before I gave them Wazine today. I hate to throw out all the eggs in my fridge. So I am giving them a few if...

This is a mystery to me!

Thanks so much! So if I am understanding correctly I could feed some chick started (which I have) and keep the oyster shell available for them along with their layer pellets? If I just added the chick started and kept the layer pellets it should give them the extra protein they need.....correct?

This is a mystery to me!

I am not completely sold on the molt idea but right now I am just hoping it is something easy to fix. I just came in from checking on them and found one hen scratching so I am thinking still mites, lice, or something. What is everyone's feeling about probiotics for them since they were just...

This is a mystery to me!

The rooster in question and my hens that are looking bad are all around the same age. I see some signs of some scaly leg mites also. But the noromectin should have taken care of the external parasites. I heard they should take care of the internal but not according to the poop I saw yesterday...

This is a mystery to me!

I am not sure it is a molt as the feathers actually look broken not just missing.

This is a mystery to me!

Just got the pictures posted. They have gradually gotten worse. I don't think it had anything to do with the treatment. I have a couple hens that look completely normal.

This is a mystery to me!

I know my chickens had lice/mites so I treated with noromectin pour on hoping all would be good after that. I treated the coop and then retreated the chickens 10 days later. I have now noticed I need to give them a wormer. So that was done today. But I can't wrap my head around the fact that my...

    Is this scaly leg mites?

I created a new thread and got zero responses on that one. Noromectin is generic for ivermectin.

    Is this scaly leg mites?

I have scaly leg mites on mine as well. We are also dealing with a lice/mite problem. My rooster had broken feathers so bad that his "cape" is no longer silver....it is black. I treated with .05 ml of noromectin on the back of their necks two days ago and will spray the coop today. What are your...
