Anybody want or know of anyone who wants an 8 month old EE rooster; either for their flock or the soup pot? He had my other rooster (the one I like) pinned in a corner this morning so he has to go. I am not at a place in my chicken raising where I am ready to process my own birds.
Nellie and Lucy are doing wonderful. They are still very vocal and have been laying for at least a month now. They still like to go visit my neighbor when I let them out for supervised free range before bed.

Thank you for your replies. My neighbor really enjoys mowing his lawn and ours so he keeps up on it. We shouldn't have any issues with longer grass getting in there. I will give it a try and hope none of my chickens have any issues with it.
Do any of you have a problem with impacted or sour crops? I am thinking of putting some of our cut grass into the run for the chickens to scratch through, but I have concerns with them getting impacted crops from it.
