    Hemorrhoid

No sigh that others have pecked it. We got her from TSC in June of 2021 at less than a week old. Is there a cure for this? No pictures. I'll "try" tomorrow after I get home from the Dentist.

    Hemorrhoid

Our best laying hen (almost every day) has a very dirty back end. Often there is blood smeared on the egg. When we rinsed the poop off it looked like a large hemorrhoid protruding from her rectum. Do Chickens have hemorrhoids? Mule

    Kind of Snake

I know they are very beneficial. But, also very costly and frustrating. Thanks to everyone for your help in identifying it. Most of what I see have small yellow specks on a black body or just black. This was the first that looked like this one.

    Chops

When I was a kid, back in the early to mid '50s my folks fed Chops to hogs. If my memory serves me right it looked like brown coarse dirt. Now days when I mention Chops I am directed to cut corn. Can anyone explain to me what Chops was/is?

WOW! My wife would really be unhappy with that many to take care of. I tell her the 12 Goats, 5 Geese, 1 standard size Donkey, 9 guineas, 10 chickens, and 48 Pigeons are what keep us alive. It is a responsibility we can not put off until tomorrow.

    What will do this?

UPDATE ! I did not look out again until around 7:45 AM. When I did the carcass was gone. ?? When the guineas or Chickens make noise I hear them from my office room. I have been in there since 3:45 AM.

    What will do this?

I lost a male Guinea last night, before 3:45AM. He roosts in a tree with two other males. He is laying almost directly below where he roosts. He was laying on his back and there are almost no feathers on the ground. What few are there are around where the head and neck use to be. I am assuming...

I have searched and searched for information on incubating eggs. This is more valuable and complete information than anything I have read anywhere. Thanks for sharing. Mule

Can I write on an egg with permanent marker?

Why don't you use a permanent marker on eggs you sell for food?
