I have noticed the larger comb and also the different attitudes of the sexes. Think the attitudes play an important part in assessing. I also find the cockerels often hatch first. But it is not always easy and I do get it wrong. I also find taking photos and looking at them on the p.c...

My Partridge was the colour of the ones with the "go faster stripes" when hatched. You will have to send more photos as they grow.

Just wanted to share a recent photo of my Partridge boy, he is 5-months old now. Guess he is too Red from what you are all saying but I do love his colour it glistens in the sunshine and has an amazing hue.

Gosh and don't they all look so different and really cute. I love the Partridge but there do not seem to be a lot around over here. which is a shame - have to start a trend.
I gave the chicks some scrambled egg this evening and they all loved it. The little chick was actually standing in the dish to make sure it got its share :o)
