If they are getting to hot just have half of the heat lamp hitting a corner and the other half not getting the brooder. Like on the outside of it.

Its funny how that happens. I was going to order 6 but the hatchery informed me I must have 15 at least so I upped it to 15 and they threw in a peanut making it 16. Was going to order fifteen more including a couple turkeys and ended up ordering 30 total. Chicken Math is tough.

Mine are just over two weeks old and most of them have been out for in the coop for 3 days. As long as it is warm enough, they can't escape, nothing can get in , and they can find food and water they should be fine.
