Ancona not laying.
Hi, we have an Ancona hen that we got with other hens that were already laying. We have had them for about 3 months now and they are all laying good except her. We have gotten three eggs from her and that's it. She is the low chicken on the totem pole and definitely a loner amongst a group...- dobeben1

Hello to all!! Newbies here from sandmannford area. I have really enjoyed looking at and getting info from the website. This is our first year with chickens and they have been a blast. Went to get 4 hens a few months ago and now have 15 plus some chicks in brooder!- dobeben1

This chicken came with some others that we had bought a couple of days ago. The guy we bought it from didn't know sex either. It avoids the all the other chickens for the most part. Doesn't crow, etc.. Gets picked on by the two cuckoo hens but tries to pick on the black copper hen. No idea...- dobeben1

Hi, I have been a long time "looker" and this is my first post, finally. My wife and I have had chickens for a few months now. We have our original nine, 6 in quarantine(newbies), and 7 baby chicks. This website has been a great help to us both and want to say thanks.- dobeben1
