As an avid chukar hunter I can say with relative certainty that is not a wild bird. I've never seen a wild chukar with an overgrown peak like that. Their normal habitat is dry, rocky areas and they wear the beaks down eating chit grass in the rocks. Probably an escaped pet.

Hello there, I will be purchasing around 18 bobwhite quail in another week or so, to use for dog training and food. How much feed can I expect 18 bobwhites to go through per month? A 40 lb. bag per month seem about right? Thanks in advance for you responses.
