    holding them by thier body, letting the legs hang free seems to work really good. Its not recomended to hang a chicken upside-down as this can kill them. The legs hanging free keeps them from trying to fly out of your arms. Good luck!

    Could be any day now! Some chicks mature a bit faster than others, but all 4 of mine started laying within1 week and a half, all just at 5 M.O.!! Keep a good look out!

    If you have not treated them , the eggs will be safe to eat. There are many reasons for reduced egg production, including stress, and excessive heat.

    sorry to hear about your hen...I have heard that using cedar chips is not a good idea, they can be poisonus to birds. Try using pine instead...
