I have 8 hens that have been laying for 3 weeks now. They are on Layena. I have 18 pullets that are on the Start and Grow. I would like them to be able to free range now and all to be in the same coop now. How do I handle the feed differences? Thanks.
Thanks! I ended up with 3 Roo's so they are keeping the 8 hens busy! I have 18 more pullets that are 8 weeks old so that will help soon when they are let out of the grow out pen. My 6 year old said last night that the Roo was being mean to the hen!!!!

I am looking for suggestions to build a secure duck coop with access to our pond. I have been thinking of building them a house to secure them at night with a run that goes out into the water for daytime access to the pond and pasture/woods. We plan to lock them up in the duck house at night...
I have the PVC with the Wye's on the bottom too. I am having problems with waste. 10 birds have emptied mine in 3 days. Thats 40 lbs. of feed on the floor now!
