Yeah I thought that because sometimes they do it when they first see me on a morning yet sometimes if there sat on my lap and the dog comes over they do it to him as if to say go away she's mine!!

So my two ducks that I now know are both hens do this thing where there necks vibrate followed by their head then they lunge I don't know if this is an excitement thing or not? Does anyone else's ducks do this or know why they are doing this?

I was thinking about getting some Cayugas what are they like? Are they noisy I've heard they are one of the quieter ducks you can get? My runner is such a baby she loves a cuddle and tickles under her head! Yet my khaki Campbell gets so interested and curious but she just won't take that step...

My runner (Rue) is fairy quiet to be honest neither make much noise at all unless they know I'm leaving. Rue has a black yellow and olive colour beak too which just confuses me even more
