Hi!!! Exciting times in Grade 1/2...we have 8 hatched so far (2 that I had to assist but only minorly) and we’ve only just arrived at Day 35 today. 3 more have pipped and a bunch of others are rolling. So far so good! (Considering how HORRIFIED I was to hatch Muscovies after all the zillion...
UPDATE: I was just at the school and there is an external pip!! (Day 31) I quickly added water, turned down the temp and unplugged the Turner. And now I wait! Hopefully the other 25 will be ok locked down a day early.
THANK YOU!!! So as soon as I see one internally pip, boost the humidity and lock down?? The other 25 eggs will be ok? And also, will it be clear once the beak breaks the membrane? I’m pretty sure today I saw the beaks pressing the membrane, but none had broken yet.
Thank you!! I asked this question on another thread and no one has answered me yet...what would you do??....5 of my Muscovies appear to have ‘drawn down’ of 26 eggs. I know this means they’re close to internally pipping but we’re only on day 30 (ending now). Should I lock down the incubator...

Hello!
I’m not sure if you tried the Muscovies with your class yet, but I’m doing it with my Grade 1/2s right now...we’re just coming to the end of day 31...fingers crossed that something hatches.
Hello Everyone!
