Neighbor's dog killed our chickens today!!

Well the husband reports that one of your RIR's did make it. She is very stressed, but she is okay. He is bringing her up into our fenced in yard tomorrow for the day. We live out in the county so not sure if leash laws actually exist or not. We are in Ohio. I am upset that all three of your...

Neighbor's dog killed our chickens today!!

The neighbor's right next to us saw him running back across the road and there were feather's everywhere. He followed the path of feathers from the drive and found our rooster, and the rest of the hens scattered but dead. Looks like it was the run and catch to kill for fun!!

    Hens not laying

I have a fLock of five hens and a rooster and they are over the age to start laying but have not. They are closed in every night and are fed pellet food mixed with grain laying hen mix. Fresh water always available. I let them free graze about two if not more times a week. Any suggestions??

I am looking to buy pullets to start off as I do not want to wait 6 months for eggs. The coop is almost built. Will hopefully be finished this...
