I Hope This Is In the Right Spot...

Well actually, it wasn't an ebay auction, I bought from a seller on here. Someone relatively new and with 1 positive feedback.

Thank you for your reply! I hope everything works out with my auction as well! I'm pretty forgiving, so I'm hoping it all ends up going as planned!

I Hope This Is In the Right Spot...

I thought it was Wednesday evening, but I went to double check and I sent payment on 8/14 @ 11:15pm...so it's been a short while, not too awful long, but long enough to make me nervous. I'd just like some small bit of communication to let me know if everything is ok, you know?

I Hope This Is In the Right Spot...

I have a concern with an auction I bought and paid for and I was wondering if I could ask for advice here? I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area, but here goes...I bought and paid for an auction Wednesday evening. The seller was aware I was going to send payment, and communication was good...

    Can chickens get mange?

When I adopted 2 sick budgies I was told by my vet they had scaly face mange mites. I realize there are different types of mange and all, and I don't mean to hijack this thread or anything, but is scaly face avian mange or isn't it? I'm confused... :)

    Can chickens get mange?

Scaley mites in birds are a form of avian mange if I'm not mistaken.

Do I Keep Hen's Wounds Bandaged?

Thanks for your reply. Just went and checked on Penny, my wounded girl, and she's up and alert, eating and drinking...wearing a onesie with an American Flag on it. :) I hope the makeshift bandage works long enough to get some healing done. I'm one of those people who's going to fret and worry...

Do I Keep Hen's Wounds Bandaged?

One of my hens suffered a nasty wound under her wing from my roo being too frisky...it's pretty bad...an area about the size of a tennis ball is torn away down to her flesh. I cleaned it out with medicated wash and packed bag balm, the medicated ointment you use on livestock, into the wound and...

    Hens VS Roosters

I was gonna say that I've heard this can happen in gators. Was wondering if it applied to birds as well, but it's cold blooded animals only.

'Cooling Periods' during Incubation for better hatch rates!

Thank you for assuming not only that the way I hatch MY eggs is silly...but that my incubator sucks. The very same incubator that I've had quite a few successful hatches in, might I add. I'm familiar with my equipment and am able to munipulate it to doing what I want it to do. And I've hatched...

'Cooling Periods' during Incubation for better hatch rates!

I'm actually doing this with my current hatch. I am allowing a gradual cool down period of 60 minutes a day to 97 degrees. I go into lockdown tomorrow evening. All 9 eggs that I began with are alive and very active, although I can't see much now with it being day 17. I've read quite a bit about...
