Rooster is a rhode red. Four reds and four buff orps. So either reds or a buff red mix. Hope some of these make it. How do i need to treat the broody? Food and water?

So we got a RIR rooster today. When is the best time of year to put him in with the hens?

always have wanted chickens. My oldest son is in 4H and they had a chicken contest. We got ten. Five Rhode Usland reds and five Buff Orpington. We love them.

It hasn’t crowed. And i know the tail feathers should be longer. Just curious.
