When should we start looking for red patches on possible cockerels? Is there a certain age? And if there are no red patches but a red comb at a young age would this mean it is a male? This is my first time with Easter eggers so any advice would be great.
I got some new pictures in better lighting just not sunlight since it’s cloudy out. Hopefully these look better than the first:

Dang ok. I’ll have to wait and see. I thought pink combs at a young age generally means that it’s a rooster? Also is there any breed of chicken that is easily sexed after hatching? I love having chickens but it’s hard for me to get rid of them, even when they are roosters
