I noticed yesterday that 2 of my flock were gasping for air. No nasal or eye discharge. Here in Maryland we have had very hot humid weather and a lot of daily rain - perfect conditions for a fungal problem. These 2 chickens tend to hang out a lot under the coop to escape some pecking by the rest...
She has dried off. She's 4 weeks or so.
I've been wetting her beak with my finger and she seems to have ingested a little bit of the water.
I have moved her out from under the heat lamp and she is just covered with a towel.
She's just sleeping a lot!!

We recently moved our chicks outside to a coop with an upper enclosure with a heat lamp and a caged-in outdoor space.
One of my silkie chicks must have come out of the enclosed area last night and could not get back in. It poured off and on here all night...
