Any ideas on what breed it is? This is my first time with chickens, so I was just going by what the guy I got the chicks from told me. Apparently, he was confused.
so yesterday i posted asking about my bantam and whether or not he/she was a roo. this morning we realized his "crow" had gotten a lot louder than his feeble, adorable attempts previously.
to my surprise, someone else is crowing now, my ameraucana. and it is pretty loud!
do hens crow also or...
Not sure why you think you would be starting a fight...I do not know whether or not he/she is a rooster, which is why I posted here.
He/she is attempted at a crow-like noise. That is the main reason i was curious. He/she also acts dominant with the others and I just was not sure as I am new to...

so, when they are older will he still try to mate with them although he is clearly much smaller? he is already pecking at the back of my buff's neck and driving her crazy. the americana just fights with him.

I have three of what I thought were all female chicks, yet as they have grown I think i have a little roo in the batch! H(s)he is a little bantam and is starting to make crow like noises and is even being somewhat of a jerk to my two larger...
