Hello, my Husband and I are in burns Oregon. We are thinking about getting started we are allowed to have 6 chickens here. About 132 miles East of Bend.

Hi, city girl turned country here. This may sound silly but I know roosters are noisy but what about 3 to 4 chickens? I was thinking about the Black Stars for egg layers did not know about the reds. No roosters allowed (sorry to say). We are in Southern Oregon.
