    that answered my next question,thank you all very much,my 2 chicks are outside now and will leave them out as they can shelter so it will be fine... of the 3 tiny chicks,unfortunatly the white one did not make it,but the other 2 seems to be thriving back to work,will check in...

    thank you for your reply... i was afraid of that!!10 chickens sounds like a lot!!and at the moment i havent really got the money to buy them in one go,they cost around 8 euro's apiece here... what if i can get 3 more hens on sundaymarket (no earlier possibilty),or does that not help?how does...

  8. the male and female given to us by friends,they were bought at easter and came here 2 days ago,today 24/4 i have put them outside for the day in a bigger area,they will need to come in again as the nights are not warm enough yet.... would like to put them with our cockrel Jochie,he is on his own
