    Lost duck to predator

Yes. I'll post some pictures soon. They are ugly pictures so prepare your eyes when I do. Lucky is starting to grow back her feathers except in the spot that had the puncture wound is still working on healing.

    Lost duck to predator

What can I put on the actualwound that is like neosporin? Antibiotic ointment and something that will dry it out and heal it?? Since it was attacked by a wild animal does it need an injectable antibiotic? Any help please. Thank you

    Lost duck to predator

Hello all. I got 2 baby peckin ducks in march from tractor supply when they were just little yellow puffs of cute. I got them to help me deal with my new onset of Tinnitus. When they were old enough to be put outside they were in a pen with no top since we never had any predator problems that I...

    Fighting Roosters?

    Feed available at night?

I had a homemade feeder and I cut the holes to big and a lot of their food spills over and onto the ground of their coop. I took the feeder out so they would eat all the food off the floor. I have been noticing that they will only eat in the day time even though their is food available to them...

making some sort of food compost?

My question is, as I have seen lots of people on here say they give their chickens fruits, veggies, scraps. Do you just throw them into the coop and they eat it (im thinking them eating dirt...ew) Or can you maybe get some sort of galvanized bucket and throw all the "treats" in it for them to eat?
