She/he looks just like my light brahma when she was her age but the leg color throws me off so im going for a light brahma cross maybe with an EE. hope this helps

I have 7 5 week old chicks, 2 of which are silkies all the rest are standard size. All the other chicks are ready to be outside but the sikies feathers aren't fully in yet and look sooo little compared to the other ones still what age can silkies go outside or I'm just being a woried mom. Thanks

My chicks are almost 3 weeks old and are currently living in a medium sized dog cage. They are starting to bump into each other and have standoffs, when they try to fly around they crash into things. i was chopping up bananas for pudding and thought chicks would love bananas. my chicks are 2 weeks old can they have bananas? are they ok for them?They are kinda squishy so i thought they might be ok. please answer so my chicks can maybe have a yummy treat . thanks

I read a post about using sand in half of the brooder or in the whole thing does any one know where it is. Also I was thinking about doing that is their any down side to making the whole brooder sand? My chicks are 2 weeks old if that makes a difference. Oh if half and half is better than any...

my light brahma chick is feathering very slowly. I know brahmas mature slower but she seems extra slow. Can someone post pics of a 2 week old light brahma for comparison, i will try to get a pic of her soon.

Ok thanks I will get a bag of medicated now. is there any reason that i shouldn't feed medicated for the rest of the time they need starter feed or is is meant to be fed for that long. Sorry im new to all this.
