First one looks like it might be starting to get streamers and the comb is a little bigger so I'd say possibly cockerel on that one. The second one is still hard to tell, but the comb looks pretty small still so could be a pullet. The third one I'm leaning towards a pullet. Smaller comb and the...
Thanks for all of the advice! I will definitely put some coconut oil on my one chickies bum if she is still having issues today. The first two nights my chicks barely ate at all. I would get them up to give them a bit of water every now and then just because they were weak, but they didn't get...
I ended up losing 3 out of the 6. Two of them were in very poor condition when they arrived. I actually thought they were DOA, but they were barely hanging on. I was able to bring them both back to the point that they could stand and walk around, and one even started to eat and drink, but one...
Here is a picture of my other silkie I got from tractor supply. The one up on the log. I got both of the white ones from TSC. One ended up with more of a crest than the other one but they are both girls. I named them Lavern and Shirley :) unfortunately Shirley was killed by a dog last summer :,(...
I lost the weakest one tonight. :( hopefully the remaining 5 will pull through, but there is one other one that isn't doing wonderful yet so trying to prepare myself to lose that one too. Poor little babies.
Thank you!
Here they are snoozing away. I just love them so much already. Praying hard they all make it! Thanks for your kind words and advice everyone!
Overall I'm happy with MPC. The chicks were well packaged with two heat packs under the straw.. It was quite cold weather for April and I...
Thank you! I've still got two that don't seem to be interested in eating in their own yet, but I'm giving them water with sugar and electrolytes regularly and they are standing on their own and peeping now, so hopefully they will come back around and decide to try pecking at some food soon

Try giving them a little honey or sugar in their water to give them a boost until they are recovered from their journey.

Thank you...
Got my 6 chicks! Three seem to be doing well. The 2 blues and a white. The buff is a little weak but hanging in there. And two little white ones are really not doing well. I'm giving them all water with electrolytes through a syringe and making up a scrambled egg and cottage cheese mix to try...
That is so strange! Doesn't make any sense! But there's a reason for it I suppose. Still haven't heard from them yet. Might call again this morning and pester them some more haha..
Thanks for the encouragement.. I wish I had told them to call me day or night! I'd totally go at like 4am if I had to! But I just told them to call me as soon as they get there.. So hopefully in the morning I will get a call.. I'm just so sad because I was so excited to pick them up and then...
