Those sound like great ideas!!!I will look them up I was also wondering how many eggs I should order if I want 5-6 chicks in the end? And Would a rubberish cooler (the hard kind) work because I think that I might have some around somewhere

What do you guys think is the best kind of home made incubator, I have seen that you can use aquariums, cabinets, or styrofoam. What would you reconmend and could you explain your reasoning behind this, I love to come on here and see what you guys have written to me Thanks, L

Today they are all squawking away! 2 of them are eating the cat food enthusiastically , with applesauce and tums as well, and 1, the biggest is kind of sucking up the sauce and crushed tums, do you think he is sick? He looks normal though.

No, this is quite normal. As you progress through incubation the air cell changes from small to big to being angled, if it is near hatch time and you see a beak inside the air sac then it has pipped. Good luck, L
