I'm happy to report that my errant hen has laid her egg in the nest box for the past two days, since I cleaned out her outside nest. I left the nest intact, though, so I'll know where to look in the future.

I have four hens, and today I found a nest in the shrubbery in their run area. Nine of the ten eggs in it were laid by the hen that is lowest in the pecking order, who usually avoids the other hens. The eggs all seem to be fairly fresh, so I believe this is a new behavior for her. What can I do...
