@ the 50$ incubator Half your luck and enjoy them!!
The cheapest I can find around here seems to be 200$ and that is way out of reach for the moment. I just can't wait to get some babies I am considering getting a silkie or two to use as minimum's in the meantime.
I don't have one but I'd desperately like one as soon as I can find either a) Cheep one on ebay or online somewhere that will ship to Australia or b) I can find a reasonable "local" seller.
Fascinating...
Does this often work or is this case a one off? I can't really afford a incubator at the moment and have been considering getting a couple of silky hens as one I had years ago was a baby hatching machine. But I thought I would have to wait until a hen came broody, I didn't think...

I just hope he doesn't think I need a bit more. Maybe I should ask him to bring me some very very very small pots...
We recently moved (5mths ago) out onto a property and I decided a vege garden and some potted plants would be in order. But the rising cost of everything and the fact that husband now moves large quantities of high grade soil soon had me asking him to bring a little bit home from work.
4mths...

Hi I obtained Harry a couple of months ago as a RIR, to my limited knowledge he looks right but then other days he just doesn't look right but maybe that's just me having a bad day.

Hi
I'm in Australia we don't actually celebrate Thanksgiving day or fall here since it's currently spring.

I relise it might not be the most appropriate way to source eggs, but would it be possible to do so or would there be quarantine regulations to follow?
Where could I find out anyone have any interesting websites?
Ok so 100 = 37.7 or thereabouts....
So here are my noob questions?
1. Does an incubator need a light in it or is the light strictly for heating purposes. Example let's say we had a heated box like a car food cooler/warmer thingy, no light but it holds a steady temp. Would that work or do I...
