Purchased these at an auction. They said 3 hens, but didn't tell us breed. They are molting right now and look pretty ugly. Can anyone tell what breed they are?

Don't think she is going to make it. Just went and checked on her and she is laying down with her face in the food. I have tried everything. Think she is just to sick :O( Thanks everyone for all the help.

soaked her butt. It seemed to calm her. Haven't seen her eat yet but she is drinking. Just hope she makes it. She is much smaller than the others.

No I haven't. Just soak her butt? We are using pine shavings .

Thanks everyone. She is only a week old. She had the pasty but when we got her. We didn't pick her but ended up with us anyway. She won't lay down and walks kinda funny too. Thanks for all the help and ideas.

I will mix some food with water. I have the chick starter food and we bought some of the medicated also. Going to try and post a pic although its a little hard to see.

No she doesn't seem to be pooping. She is doing a lot of chirpping.

Hello we are knew to raising chickens. We bought 6 new babies and one had (has what I found to be pasty butt) I have done all that is suggested, but she doesn't seem to be eating now. She is drinking water. She chirps a lot and I'm hoping she isn't in pain. I keep wiping her and drying her off...
