Temperature isn't an issue during the day. I could not find anything referencing a minimum age. They are a few days old. I'm going to wait a few more days, then a little at a time until they outgrow the brood box.

I am gettin my first chicks and plan to have a big yard when they are ready. how long should I wait to let them out in a protective pen on grass? thanks to all replies
