I have the opposite problem. My gander has been cut off shortly after I got the ducks. She spends the day right beside the duck pen talking and showing off in front of them. Poor Peepers hollers and cries at her all day long trying to get her attention. She won't let him wander off very far...
Peepers makes a nickering sound like a horse when she is very excited like when she finds dandelions to eat. She also does it when I go outside and it almost sounds like she is saying hiiiiiiiii when she does it.
I do too. My favorite is when I clean the pool and she will jump in and jump out and run around the yard honking. She does it three or four times like she is yelling the water is cold!!!! Lol
thank you. I bring little Letty out a little bit and allow them to be around each other. Hopefully when Letty gets a little bigger they will become best friends. Right now they tolerate each other.
I got another gosling today so peepers wouldn't be alone outside. He/she hissed and snapped at it. How should I introduce it in a way Peepers won't feel threatened by it. Peepers is around 8-9 weeks old. Just finished feathering out.
Time for bed. I moved his pen outside 3 days ago. How long does it usually take for them to adapt to the change? He made me feel bad crying last night so I put his diaper on and let him sleep in bed with us. 1 husband, 2 dogs, a goose and me. we are going to need something bigger than a king...
