Just put eggs into lock down after candling. Pulled 8 eggs out from 48 total. Is that a high, low, or normal sized loss? All were removed non developing. Will break eggs open tomorrow to see where they stand and where development stopped if it even ever started. Thanks for replies.

Thanks for the replys. I appreciate the info. Out of the 11. One roo and one pullet seem to lay more then others. I brought the pullet in for the night to watch her. But she seems fine. Just likes to lay down. I'll likely place her back in the coop tomorrow.

I have 11 white bresse that are around 8 weeks of age. I've noticed most of them lay or sit while eating. Is that norm ? Do those who raise them control feed or have feed available for their leisure around the clock ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes I kind of figured it's a bit late. Wish I would have noticed it earlier. After noticing the foot I went through the others with a fine tooth comb and all were normal. I'll likely leave it be unless I see it causes her trouble. Guess she'll be placed with the egg layers and not in a breeding...
