Yes, Hagatha has feathers on her legs and her feathers are very colorful in general, not a solid black. And her comb is different (don't know what the facial anatomy is called otherwise...). Harriet is smaller, and she doesn't have the feathers on the feet, is a solid black except for some rust...

this is Hilde, I'm not sure what she is. I forgot but think Harriet is a Silkie. If anyone can give me help I'd be glad to know. We're all in south western Idaho by the way.

this is Harriet, I believe a Silkie. You can't see but she has rust colored feathers on the neck. Smaller than Hagatha and not so fluorescent. More solid black and no feathers on her feet

    I'm new!

I believe I have two wynadottes, a silkie, a beautiful americauna and a very petite little red girl that I can't place yet. I'll have to confirm these but think that's right. They were given to me from friends who couldn't keep them any longer. I have lots of land for them and love having them here.

I know someone would ask before I could be reminded. I have 3 that are all different breeds and two of the same, and I can't remember! I will find out!

    I'm new!

Hi, I'm a newbie to the group and to owning chickens -- have had my 5 girls for last 4 months or so. Really enjoy them but want to learn more how to care for them and and to the brood as time goes on.
