So, I have a few notes on nipples. I got the push in type from Tek supply, and used sched. 40 PVC. I found that the 11/32 hole was too small and ruined the grommets when I put them in. I used a slightly larger bit, unfortunately, I couldn't read what size it was, either 23/64 or 9-9.5mm...
What is the proper water pressure for chicken nipples? I'm using the push in type from FarmTek, have them installed in PVC attatched to the garden hose, but the pressure makes it too hard for them to peck at. Anyone know of a cheap way to reduce the pressure? I have a ball valve, barely...
