Cuckoo Silkies- Updated Pics Page 4

Thread revival! Curious- because of the skin pigmentation, is a pink comb at 8 weeks an indication of gender? I have four that have rather pink combs, and one who's comb has remained darker. They are from Blue Ridge silkies (totallycuckoo is his BYC name, I think) and they are partridge and red...

Thank you Carol, but I am in Merritt Island- and I already caught my bandit!! It was an opossum- which explains why it wasn't taking down the bigger birds. Stupid sucker.

Both mornings I was outside around 5:45- yesterday I noticed the momma and everyone else huddled by the...

    Eye that is aggrivated- cloudy?

It's just the one eye, thanks. Chicken Doctor said it looks like a bacterial infection and recommended several things including a dif optic drop (which he sells of course) vetRx, and Tylan. I was wondering if it couldn't be eye worm? I've got the stuff to deal with that already.

    Eye that is aggrivated- cloudy?

    1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.) Spooky is a silkie, at about POL- weight seems fine 2) What is the behavior, exactly. she turns circles sometimes 3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? ? Not sure- previous...
