Beautiful Easter Egger Roo Needs a Home - He's in King of Prussia, PA

This handsome one year old needs a new home. I am reducing my flock and don't have the heart to have him turned into chicken stock. He was hatched within my flock last summer and hand raised. He's not aggressive, in fact he's a tad skittish and will very gently eat from your hand. His daddy...

Newly Hatched EE! Gray? Blue? Boy? Girl?

Thank you for the reply. I'm actually not surprised to hear it either. I'm just a little concerned with the the creamy head spot as in most black sex link it would mean it's a boy. Guess I'll just wait and see. The the little peep says "thank you for the compliment"

Newly Hatched EE! Gray? Blue? Boy? Girl?

This little cutie hatched a few hours ago! I'm at a loss for the possible color and gender. I'd describe the color as a silvery gray, darker mask area with a pale yellow spot on top. The legs are darkish but I can't say for sure they are green/blue of an EE or black like the Australorps...

    EE Roos or Hens?

The upper most feathers do appear to curve but not sharply. I will try to get a few more pics of both and post. Niether have started crowing, but they may be too young. Although their hatch-mate (an EE and Chantacler mix) had started when he was just about 7-8 weeks old. He has moved on.

    EE Roos or Hens?

Thank you all so much for your responses! I'm very much relieved to get such a strong confirmation of pullet vrs roo! With that they will stay on as part of my chicken family!! And with the greenish legs I may just get something other than brown eggs... fingers crossed! Thank you again!!! MJ

    EE Roos or Hens?

11 weeks ago I hatched some EE chicks. One started to crow a few weeks ago so I sent him on his way along with a playmate. I have these two left, both green legged. I'd love to keep the cream colored one, but only if I can identify it's a SHE and not a HE. Can any one shed some light on...

Columbian Wyandotte Roo - 16 wks - Free - Pick Up Only

I have a 16 week old Columbian Wyandotte rooster that needs to find a good home. He is not blending well with my dominant EE roo. The little man is friendly and has already started to crow. He is definately a leader in the making and protectively watches over the gals he was raised with. He...
